Vito never heard so many ‘NO’s in his short life… ohhh the beautiful curiosity of a 2 years old, who does not like to her ‘NO’ and still learning to express his emotions!
I read this quote, actually a version of this, a while ago and since then I am constantly reminded of it:
Having boys is just feeling like you are about to have a heart attack at each and every minute.
“Motherhood is about raising and celebrating the child you have, not the child you thought you’d have. It’s about understanding he is exactly the person he’s supposed to be. And, if you are lucky, he might be the teacher who turns you into the person you’re supposed to be.” – The Water Giver
It is vital that when educating our children’s brains that we do not neglect to educate their hearts. – Dalai Lama
‘Be flexible… usually kids are open to some flexibility, we [moms] are the ones that are not.’ – advice from a great friend, mom of 2 beautiful boys, when talking about potty training.
We are definetely on the ´stranger suspicion´ phase! Vito withdraws and it takes him a bit of time to feel confortable to new faces or even to faces he hasn´t seen in awhile.
‘Don’t give up! I believe in you all.
A person’s a person, no matter how small!’
– Dr. Seuss
“When I Was 5 Years Old My Mother Always Told Me That Happiness Was The Key To Life. When I Went to School They Asked Me What I Wanted To Be When I Grew Up. I Wrote Down ‘Happy’…They Told Me I Didn’t Understand The Assignment, And I Told Them They Didn’t Understand Life”. – John Lennon
